Seeking an experienced O&M Manager – Passive Infrastructure O&M to lead the delivery of Operations & Maintenance services across passive telecom infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for overall service delivery, operational governance, client satisfaction, SLA compliance, budget management, and the leadership of Regional O&M Managers to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality network operations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of Passive Infrastructure O&M services in line with contractual obligations.

Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and quality standards.

Develop and manage departmental budgets while driving cost optimization initiatives.

Oversee operational governance, resource allocation, and regional performance.

Review operational reports and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Serve as the primary client contact for service delivery and contractual matters.

Prepare client proposals, quotations, and extra works as required.

Lead, mentor, and develop Regional O&M Managers.

Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

Oversee operational risks, audits, and business continuity.

Authorize major operational decisions and escalations within delegated authority.

Travel across regions and provide leadership during critical service delivery escalations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline.

Minimum of 4-5 years’ experience in Telecom Infrastructure Operations & Maintenance or Managed Services.

Proven experience in a senior Service Delivery or Operations Management role.

Strong understanding of passive telecom infrastructure, power systems, and O&M contracts.

Demonstrated leadership experience managing multi-region operations.

Excellent commercial, financial, and client relationship management skills.

Valid Botswana Driver’s Licence.
