Job Description
Commercial Motors (Pty) Ltd, a subsidiary of the Sefalana Group of companies invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of FINANCE MANAGER reporting directly to the General Manager and Group Finance Director. The placement will be the Commercial Motors office in Broadhurst, Gaborone.

Key Responsibilities
Preparation and reporting on all financial information of the Company on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
Preparation of budgets and forecasts of the Company including cashflow forecasts.
Preparation of board packs, statutory financial statements, and coordination of external and internal audits.
Renewal of Company insurance.
Ensuring sound internal controls and financial procedures within the Company.
Ensuring compliance with Income Tax Act, Companies Act and all applicable legislations
Review and management of payroll, fixed asset register, accounts payable and receivable functions.
Frequent review of Business Intelligence systems for management reporting purposes.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years post qualification experience
Experience within a publicly listed company will be an added advantage
Holding a professional accounting qualification such as CA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent and shall be a member of Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants
Sound knowledge on various Laws in Botswana including Companies Act and Income Tax Act
Up to date knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Adequately computer literate and have detailed working expertise in the various software packages such as Arch, Pastel and Accpac.
